Sending and receiving e-mail

You can use the Microsoft Exchange Inbox for all of your Internet e-mail needs. Microsoft Exchange is included as part of the Windows 95 operating system

Before you begin, here are some tips that may make setting up your e-mail account easier:

  • If you connect to the Internet by using MSN, your Microsoft Exchange Inbox should already be set up for you. Just double-click the Inbox icon on your desktop to start Microsoft Exchange.

  • If you connect by using another Internet access provider, your Microsoft Exchange Inbox should be set up for you, as long as you entered your Internet e-mail information in the Internet Setup wizard. The first time you double-click the Inbox icon on your desktop, you will be prompted for your e-mail password.

After you open your Microsoft Exchange Inbox, you can use the toolbar buttons to easily send and receive e-mail over the Internet.
